PUBG Mobile is all set to receive the 0.14.5 update next month which will also set the stage for Royale Pass Season 9. For the unaware, the Royale Pass Season 8 will end of September 11 and the first details of 0.14.5 update & Royale Pass Season 9 are now out. According to a new leak coming from pubgm_leak (Instagram), the PUBG Mobile 0.14.5 update will bring in a lot of new features to Vikendi map. Vikendi is the fourth map introduced by Tencent Games and it’s a Snow Map based on locations in Europe. After 0.14.5 update, the Vector SMG gun in Vikendi will be replaced by MP5K SMG which will fire 9mm ammunition. The update may also bring Canted Sight to the popular Battle Royale game. Besides the new gun, Vikendi map is also rumoured to receive new Snow Bike and a vehicle. The Royale Pass Season 9 leaks include a new KAR98K and UMP9 skins.
PUBG Mobile 0.14.5 Update: What to Expect?
Very recently, Tencent Games rolled out the PUBG Mobile 0.14.0 update for both Android, iOS users. The update brought several visual changes and new features to the table. That’s not all as the company is now preparing for 0.14.5 update that will be rolled in the second week of September. The PUBG Mobile 0.14.5 update will set the stage for Royale Pass Season 9 as the Season 8 is going to end on September 11, 2019.
Going by today’s leak, the 0.14.5 update is expected to bring several new features to the Vikendi map including a new SMG gun, new Bike and new vehicle. As noted, the MP5K SMG gun which fires 9mm ammo will replace Vector that fires 0.45CP ammo in Vikendi. The MP5K SMG gun will have three modes- single, burst and auto, similar to MK47 Mutant, M762 Beryl and M16A4 Assualt Rifles in the game. It’s also said that Tencent Games will add a new vehicle called ‘Zima’ for Vikendi, alongwith a new Snowbike that will replace the standard Bike in Vikendi.
That being said, these are just a small amount of features which will come out with 0.14.5 update. The update is expected to roll out on September 12 for all the PUBG Mobile users and it will set the stage for Royale Pass Season 9.
PUBG Mobile Royale Pass Season 9: What We Know Far?
The current Royale Pass Season 8 of PUBG Mobile will end on September 11, and going by this leak, the Season 9 will begin on September 13. The Season 9 duration is expected to be two months as always from September 13, 2019, to November 11, 2019. With the Season 9 Royale Pass, PUBG Mobile is expected to get a new KAR98K skin, UMP9 skin and new theme along with new outfits. The Royale Pass Season 8 is based on Ocean theme and it will be interesting to see which theme Tencent Games uses for Season 9.
